"Adapt the nothing therein to the purpose of the hand, and you will have the use of the room. Thus we gain is Something, yet it is by the virtue of the Nothing that this can be put to use."
---- LAO TZU
Nickolas believes that art should be exhaustively transcendental to thereby cross cultural and class lines. This being the first starting point to work from, the intervals between the degrees of repetition are what can be directly correlated between music and his art. He lives and works in San Francisco and has shown with Luggage Store Gallery, Triple Base, Adobe Bookshop, and Budget Gallery along with many other random auctions or benefits. He holds a BA from San Francisco State Univerisity and is pursuing a MFA in O6. He currently enjoys working at the public library and frequenting the Go Club in his neighborhood while making new prints on the side.
